Bluefish444 Latest News: As Seen @NAB2017
“Bluefish444, manufacturer of the industry’s highest-quality uncompressed 4K/2K/HD/SD video I/O cards for the Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems, introduces the KRONOS range of video and audio I/O cards”
Always with an eye to the future, Bluefish444 have built Kronos to exceed current standards, deliver connector expand-ability and future codec support. Next to the SDI BNC connectors, Bluefish444 have added SFP+ cages that will enable Kronos to deliver complete flexibility for future ports and formats including faster than 3G-SDI and 10Gbps Ethernet connectivity. Kronos processing has incredible bandwidth available and will support up to 8K resolutions, frame rates up to 120fps, High Dynamic Range (HDR) and evolving video over IP protocols.
In addition to the highest quality video performance in the industry, Kronos will deliver resolution scaling, SDI to IP bi-directional conversion, Interlacing and 12-bit colour space conversion, all at incredibly low latency. As new SMPTE 2022 standards are solidified, or new IP protocols are developed, Kronos will support them. Technically, if it can be put on an SFP, Kronos can support it!
“…the KRONOS range will suit today’s demanding requirements and cover emerging technologies as they mature,” states Tom Lithgow, Product Manager, Bluefish444
