Kiloview D260 – 4-Channel HD to HDMI & SDI Decoder

The D260 is Kiloview’s newest H.265/H.264 decoder and builds on the capabilities of their original D230 with expanded new features, including upgraded decoding performance, extended ports, more protocols supported and a new LCD screen. With 1x 3G-SDI + 2x HD HDMI Outputs, broad protocol support and customisable multi-view output, D260 is an incredibly affordable IP workflow appliance.

4 CH Simultaneous Video Decoding

D260 now supports decoding in H.265 format and up to 4-channel of video streams in 1080p60 simultaneously. All 4 video outputs can be custom to single display or PIP with adjustable figures.

Multiple Protocols Supported

For all IP-based video transmission process, D260 supports the latest NDI technology – NDI|HX3*, NDI|HX2, SRT, RTMP/RTMPS, HLS, TS over UDP, and RTP/RTSP

* Support of NDI|HX3 is still in beta version.

Extended Output Interfaces

D260 includes additional output interfaces over the previous model, enabling more advanced applications. Equipped with 2x HDMI 2.0 output, 1x 3G-SDI output and 2x USB ports (1x USB Type-A / 1x USB Type-C) to ensure the scalability, it’s capable of outputting in three ways: Independent Output, Combined Multi-Channel Output or Replicated Output.

Low Latency and High Quality

D260 can achieve a decoding delay of less than 100ms with advanced FPGA processing + codec algorithm optimisation, reducing network packet loss and ensuring clear, smooth, video and high colour reproduction.

RTMP Server Supported

With its built-in RMTP server, encoders limited to RTMP streaming can directly transmit to the Kiloview D260 without a third party RTMP platform, increasing security, reliability and video performance.

SDI + HDMI Dual Output

The 3G-SDI and dual HDMI outputs can deliver independent or duplicate content for different workflows and environments.

Multiview Layouts

The output display can be either a grid or in your display style such as split-screen and picture-in-picture, dynamic selection of 1/2/3/4/split display. The video bitrate and resolution can be 100% customized also.

16x Preview + 4x Output

D260 supports “preview + output” mode, in which you can preview 16 real-time video streams on the web console, and select 4 of them to display on the screen for output simultaneously. This feature can also be used for tally control (PVW/PGM).

Intercom

Both embedded and analogue audio encoding are supported. What’s more, with Kiloview voice intercom software (optional), it will integrate with their multi-party voice intercom solution.

Overlays

Kiloview D260 benefits you from a background subject with LOGO and OSD overlay. And the preview terminal can sync the customized information.
