The Postium OBM-X241 is our most advanced 24” display for UHD/4K HDR Reference monitoring. The OBM-X241 is a Grade 2 Field Production/QC monitor utilising a native 4096×2160 LCD Panel with a maximum HDR luminance of 1000 nits. The OBM-X241 is equipped with standard 12G/6G/3G-SDI input interfaces (x2) and HDMI 2.0 input and support both 4K Quad Link 2-Sample Interleave and 4K Quad Link Square Division signals via SDI and SFP and accepts up to 3840×2160/24,25,30,50,60p and 4096×2160/24.25.30,50,60p signals.

Versatile 4K/QFHD Input Capability
The OBM-X310 is equipped with dual 12G-SDI inputs AND dual 3G/HD-SDI inputs, supporting 4K single, dual and Quad Link 2-Sample Interleave / Square Division signals. The OBM-X310 series can accept up to 3840×2160/24,25,30,50,60p and 4096×2160/24.25.30,50,60p signals.
This function minimises the interlaced video processing time delay. This mode is also useful when displaying fast-motion interlaced video content and when reducing the delay between video and audio.
This function evaluates the Luma (Y’) level of the input image. If a certain Y’ level is set, the pixels with the designated Luma (Y’) level are displayed with a zebra pattern or a colour pattern. There are three modes in OBM False Colour.
The Black Stretch increases the visibility of subjects in dark areas, without degrading image quality in bright areas. This mode can be used to increase shadow detail without changing the absolute black level, and without affecting mid-tones.
Colour Space / HDR / Gamma Comparison (Side by Side, Wipe position)
This unique function allows users to compare two different colour spaces, gammas, HDR / SDR, camera logs and any other colour settings side by side simultaneously. The comparison area can be moved and selected by using the vertical wipe pattern.
4K Waveform Monitor and Vector Scope Display
These features enable users to monitor sources using the internal Waveform and Vector Scope. Waveform Wide mode* is supported, and both Waveform and Vector Scope can be displayed simultaneously.
Waveform & Vector Scope Position Changeable
The position of Waveform and Vector Scope can be changed between Left Top, Right Top, Right Bottom, Left Bottom.
High Dynamic Range (HDR) Display Function
The OBM series provides the function to display High Dynamic Range footage. Postium HDR function allows users to view both highlights and shadow detail of scenes at the same time, thus resulting in more natural and realistic images. The OBM series supports PQ EOTF (SMPTE ST 2084), Hybrid Log Gamma and S-Log3. OBM-HDR includes the function of comparing HDR and SDR (Standard Dynamic Range) on the displayed image on the OBM series simultaneously.
When HDR mode is on, HDR Waveform is displayed on screen.
Gamma value is adjustable from 1.0 to 3.0 as per the user’s preference for adjusting detail visibility in the dark area of the picture. Any pictures taken in either light or dark environment can be easily watched or analysed.
12G-SDI over IP Supporting SMPTE 2022-6
The OBM-X310 has an SFP interface, which allows the use of various SFP modules that can support most broadcast applications including 12G-SDI over fibre and video over IP through the correct, supported SFP.
Wide Colour Space Supporting DCI-P3 and ITU-R BT.2020
Wide colour gamut and advanced 3D LUT functions enable the OBM series to reproduce various colour spaces accurately including excellent greyscale. You can select from colour gamuts such as DCI-P3, ITU-R BT.2020, ITU-R BT.709, SMPTE-C, EBU, Native.
Camera Log Selection
The OBM series has integrated camera LUT for various camera manufacturers. It allows users to load the following camera logs. Log-C, C-Log / S-Log2, S-Log3 / J-Log1 – More camera LUTs are always being added so call and ask if yours has been!
Camera Log Mapped SDI Loop-out
This function allows you to load a camera log to the original image and then send the camera log mapped image to another monitor or recorder through the SDI loop out.
Remote Control via Ethernet
The OBM series can be connected via Ethernet connection and controlled remotely on the network.
The OBM series can display closed captions with an SDI input. It supports CEA-708 (HD-SDI closed captioning standard) and CEA-608 (SD-SDI closed captioning standard).
The OBM series can display various markers, including aspect marker, area marker, and centre marker, with detailed display settings for each marker. For example, the colour, brightness, horizontal/vertical position, and thickness of aspect markers can all be adjusted.
Custom 3D LUT File Import
The OBM series allows the user to import 3D Look-up Tables for accurate and consistent colour matching between individual displays as well as using customised ‘looks’ that have been created by 3rd party colour-grading applications. 32 and 64 cube file are supported.
