Stream Over Bonded Networks

VidiU Go was designed to perform in the most challenging production environments, which is why we’ve included the very same bonding technology found in our high end broadcast systems. Never drop another live broadcast by streaming over the combined bandwidth from Ethernet, WiFi, and up to two 3G / 4G / LTE modems, or use several iPhone and Android smartphones as hotspots for even more bandwidth redundancy.

Get Max Bandwidth via Teradek ShareLink with HEVC or H.264 compression

VidiU Go includes both H.264 and HEVC compression, allowing you to choose the technology best suited to your project. HEVC video compression offers the same video quality as H.264 at half the required bandwidth, which makes it perfect for slow Ethernet and WiFi connections or saving on data costs when streaming over cellular networks

Stream to Multiple Destinations

Stream to Social Platforms

Expand the reach of your content and build a larger audience by streaming to multiple platforms at the same time. With Core and Sharelink, you can stream live on all of your favourite OVPs simultaneously, including multiple Facebook pages, Twitch, YouTube, and more.

Remote Configuration

We understand that VidiU Go is a critical component of your live broadcast, so we’ve built remote management into the Core and Sharelink platforms so your team can configure and prepare the encoder ahead of time from anywhere in the world.

Cutting Edge HEVC/H.265 and Universally Supported AVC/H.264

Teradek Transcoding

While the RTMP protocol does not yet support HEVC compression, our transcoding engine allows you to take advantage of H.265’s bandwidth savings while ensuring video delivery in the common H.264 format.

Teradek Announces VidiU Go: A Bonded Cellular HEVC Live Streaming Solution

New for NAB 2018, the popular VidiU series of live streaming encoders is getting its first new addition in several years: VidiU Go. Built on Teradek’s venerable Cube HEVC platform, VidiU Go streams to Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, and any other online video platform in pristine 1080p60 video quality. VidiU Go begins shipping May 2018.

VidiU Go is a live streaming encoder for businesses, freelancers, and enthusiasts seeking the cutting edge of broadcast technology. With H.264 and HEVC built-in, the Go gives you the flexibility of delivering live video in the widely accepted AVC format or taking advantage of the efficiency of H.265 during bonded cellular broadcasts.

Bandwidth challenges are never an issue for the VidiU Go with its state of the art bonding capabilities taken from Teradek’s professional line of Bond Backpacks. The Go includes two USB ports designed for Teradek’s new Node for VidiU Go* modems, the very same high performance 3G / 4G / LTE modems found in the company’s high end professional systems. Additionally, the Go can add even more bonded bandwidth via its gigabit Ethernet port and built-in dual-band WiFi.

To take your live streaming even further, the VidiU Go offers integration with Teradek’s Sharelink and Core platforms**, which provide remote encoder configuration and HEVC / AVC transcoding (Core only). Most importantly, Sharelink and Core offer multi-platform delivery, allowing you to stream to any and all of your favourite streaming platforms at the same time.

With both HDMI and SDI inputs, the VidiU Go is equally at home on small camcorders as it is on larger broadcast cameras. The Go is powered via a USB-C port, which makes it easier than ever to power the system with external Li-Ion batteries. Like the VidiU and VidiU Pro, the Go is compatible with Teradek’s iOS video production suite, Live:Air Action, and the VidiU app for iOS, allowing users to quickly configure and monitor their stream, as well as overlay graphics and lower thirds right onto their live feed.

*Node modems optional.

**Bonding requires a subscription to Sharelink or Core
